I am a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), currently working in New Delhi, India as Group Consultant with Microland; a Bangalore, India based Technology Services and Support company. At present, I am responsible for providing pre-sales support and handling consulting assignments for my clients, primarily in the the area of Risk Assessment and Information Security.
My interests, apart from Information Security include reading, travelling, watching movies and following up developments in the open source world (not necessarily in that order).
I am particularly interested in the way people use open source solutions in training, education and business. To me MIT initiatives like open curriculum; which help in bringing specialized education to masses are a great leveller for human race across the globe and are perfect examples of inclusive growth.
In my free time, if I am not reading or watching a movie, I spend time researching Information Security Issues and Open Source developments on the Internet.
